The Electric Blood February 26, 2009

The newest project from songwriter/guitar slinger Patrick Slade, The Electric Blood blend traditional heavy blues with subtle psychedelic grooves with much greater emphasis placed on improvisation than Slades former project, the riff heavy Wisebloods. Joining Slade is keyboard wizard and former Wiseblood collaborator Jeremy Tromburg, who creates more complex compositions similar to that of Deep Purple and Lucifer's Friend. Rhythm guitarist Colin Sipos fell into the project first as it producer/engineer, and currently gets to run back and forth from each side of the glass. Rounding out the 5 piece is the dynamite rhythm section of Mickey Dagger (Wabash Cannonballs) on bass and Grammy Award-winning drummer Jim Hines formerly of the Brian Wilson Band.
