Denver, CO – Neil LaBute's razor sharp comedy "Some Girl(s)" opens Friday, September 23 in Lakewood. Presented by the Edge Theatre Company, the play – a biting view of love, betrayal and the search for redemption – follows a soon-to-be-married writer as he pays a last visit to four ex-girlfriends before taking the plunge.
The Edge Theater Company is excited to announce its second season line up. On opening night of Some Girl(s), the show will be followed by a champagne reception and the announcement of the Edge Theater’s 2012 season. Everyone who attends opening night will be admitted to the reception at no charge.
Directed by Rick Yaconis, the cast includes James O’Hagan Murphy, Haley Johnson, Missy Moore, Patty Ionoff, and Karli Kaiser.
The Edge Theater Company presents “Some Girl(s)” September 23 through October 23 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 6:00 pm.; Tickets are $18.00 and $14.00 for seniors/students. Neil LaBute, enfant terrible of contemporary American theatre, studied writing at Brigham Young University, University of Kansas and New York University. His plays include The Mercy Seat, Fat Pig, The Shape of Things, reasons to be pretty and Some White Chicks. Films include In the Company of Men,Nurse Betty, Possession, Lakeview Terrace and Death at a Funeral.
