The Dogwood Homegrown Comedy Binge Finale April 16, 2010

Last year, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival presented its first Friday night comedy show to a sellout crowd. For 2010, the city’s oldest springtime tradition offers a month-long celebration of laughter, which culminates in a grand finale at the festival. “The Dogwood Homegrown Comedy Binge,” a partnership between Laughing Skull Comedy Club and the Dogwood Festival kicks off with monthly open mic competitions in March. The finalists will bring the hilarity to the festival’s Lake Clara Meer stage on Friday, April 16.

Every Wednesday, March 17 through April 7, local comedians will compete at Laughing Skull, for a spot as one of the four weekly winners. The 20 finalists duke it out at Laughing Skull on Wednesday, April 14 for a place in the championship at the Dogwood Festival. See website for ticket information.
