The Detroit 2008 Million Father March August 23, 2008

The Better Detroit Movement is organizing The Detroit 2008 Million Father March, a city-wide campaign that encourages fathers to accompany their child or children to the first day of school. The march is scheduled for August 23^rd, and will be used to build community, parent and student involvement throughout the school year.

This event is scheduled to be held in front of The Detroit Public Library's main campus at 5201 Woodward Avenue.
