The Delfonics caught the rising tide of R&B music at just the right time in the late 1960s. The group's unique style of singing and their patented dance steps caught the fancy of popular music fans both black and white. The Delfonic's hits ranged from 1968's number 1 single 'La La La Means I Love You,' to top 40 soul hits 'Ready Or Not Here I Come,' 'Break Your Promise,' 'Trying To Make a Fool Out of Me' and 'Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time.'
