One of the hottest bands of 2006, The Decemberists have done some amazing work in the world of indie/folk and fusion rock over the years--blending hyper-literate lyrics about Irish folklore, life on the sea, Japanese legends and more with beautifully nuanced instrumentation. Grizzly Bear is five-piece acoustic/indie band from Brooklyn, New York. Land of Talk is led by the daughter of North America's first female alligator wrestler, and backed by Montreal's skinniest drummer and fattest bass player.
