Come and experience what the Dance Centre has to offer!
Free walk-in beginner’s classes, open rehearsals and demonstrations from 12-6pm. Try something new and different – everything from Bellydance to Ballroom to Bhangra!

Performance Details
4pm: Ballet British Columbia presents excerpts from “Elemental Brubeck” (by suggested donation of $5).
8pm: Fusion Forms is a double bill of cutting edge cultural fusions, featuring the nationally renowned band Delhi 2 Dublin, whose exhilarating music blends the traditional folk melodies of North India and Ireland with dance rhythms and DJ aesthetics, sharing the stage with Irish and South Asian dancers; and the wildly popular Mozaico Flamenco Dance Theatre, performing flamenco cross-fertilized with Chinese and Middle Eastern influences.
9.30pm: battery opera’s Bob’s Lounge is back after its sell-out show at last year’s Open House. This year’s theme Music, Martinis and Fertility Rites is an anarchic hybrid of dance, theatre, music, and cabaret. The event transforms the building’s rooftop studio and patio into a lounge for a series of witty and offbeat performances by guests including Veda Hille, Leaky Heaven Circus and more.
