The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America present the 8th Annual Heroes with Heart Awards Dinner February 3, 2007

USS Midway, San Diego, CA – Come aboard for a worthy cause at The 8th Annual Heroes with Heart Awards Dinner for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America on Saturday, February 3, 2007 on the Historic USS Midway. The annual event will be an evening of lively entertainment and dancing to the Reganomics Band, an exhilarating flight simulation and fascinating ship tour, as well as gourmet food from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Awardees Kim E. Barrett, Ph.D., Michael Docherty, M.D., Eric Hayes, and Ernest Melvin “Mel” Moore, will receive recognition for advancement in their fields and their contributions to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. The program will also include a silent and live auction to raise vital funds for the organization’s research and education programs. The Heroes with Heart charity event will benefit the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, whose mission is to cure and prevent Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education.
