An exhibition featuring innovation and visionary works designed by graduates of the
Master of Architecture II Program, Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union

WHAT: Cooper Union graduates of the Master of Architecture II Program display their 2012 thesis projects in “The Critical Moment: Architecture in the Expanded Field.” Projects include “Prosthetic Aesthetics,” an exploration how technology affects the body and how this affects architecture and “Parallel Cities,” an examination of post–Arab Spring Cairo, where unprecedented, electronic idea sharing created two entities: an actual city and a virtual city. Questioning the very boundaries of architecture itself, collectively their work addresses the critical issues now shaping the discipline’s discourse.
