Coachwerks is hot, it's where it's at and it's yours!
We're holding a second building festival in early March and you're invited to come and put in some time, skills and love in whatever way you can - to help raise the building up to the next level of finshedness. As with last time, all materials will be provided and this time we're going to really try to get some hot catering action for all you hungry people :)

Before you get here, we hope to have the new floor built and the roof mended - so during the fest we'll be working on a little demolition here, partition building there, trying to sort out the drafty bits - but mostly it's about this:

Coachwerks is your space. It's where you can come with ideas and make them happen. It's where you can come and meet people with different skills and work together on projects and ideas. We're totally open. We're absolutely full of energy and we want you here to make things happen. Your things - Coachwerks is a space in progress - you can have your voice and use it to shape what's going on.

In return for your support, you'll find comraderie, events, projects, dialogue and the support of the community reflected back atcha!

Programme

* Take down collapsing space
* Build partitions
* Paint through same corridor
* Plasterboard ceilings
* Put in double doors separating off the big studio
* Build proper fence entrance for the yard
* Build utility space
* Work on new kitchen space - painting/tiling/flooring

There will be a lush discorama on the 14th organised by www.letsplayrecords.co.uk and they're organising a free workshop on the 13th that will probably include: Come and make a 'Cardy' - Cardboard instrument making and Collecta-Selecta - a drop in for vinyl enthusiasts to drop in and play their own collection. Buildathon volunteers go free for both. I will send a separate email out about this soon.
