The Clarke/Duke Project January 13, 2007

Legendary bassist Stanley Clarke and keyboardist George Duke first collaborated in 1981, releasing the first Clarke/Duke Project album that year, which was followed up over the years with two more albums in 1983 and 1989, respectively. Each meeting would work over the foundations of funk, smooth jazz and soul, with the duo's personal touches scattered into the mix. Their live performances are well worth seeing them in their element.
