The City and the Children: Denver's Juvenile Justice System August 24, 2011

In this exhibit explore the beginnings of Denver's juvenile justice system and the man that fought for the rights of children, Judge Benjamin Barr Lindsey, who was known as !the kids' judge. A great supporter of his was Denver's Margaret "Molly" Brown. Mrs. Brown's fundraising efforts and the work of Judge Ben Lindsey helped to change the way Denver and the United States treated their youth and addressed social injustices.
