Wildly decorated and deconstructed chairs designed by nine teams of artists and designers will be on display March 9 to April 13, 2011, at the Nordstrom flagship store in downtown Seattle. "The Chair Project," which is collaboration between Seattle design icons Seattle Design Center and Pratt Fine Arts Center features uniquely distinctive chairs designed by some of the area's top designers and artists. They will be on display inside the Nordstrom window at 5th Avenue and Pine Street in Seattle. The chairs were first publicly displayed at Seattle Design Center's Northwest Design Awards Gala in February and will be auctioned in August with proceeds benefitting Pratt.
