The Center for Independent Living Hosts Free Emergency Preparedness Seminar for Seniors and People with Disabilities August 21, 2012

The Center for Independent Living, along with Seminole County’s Office of Emergency Management, will host a free emergency preparedness seminar for seniors and persons with disabilities, with a complimentary breakfast and lunch during the workshop. Speakers will include experts in disaster preparation and response. They will discuss how to develop an emergency plan and what steps to take to prepare for a disaster. During the event, officials will be on hand to help attendees develop their own emergency plans to take home.
