The British Emporium Spring Classic Car Show May 21, 2006

Join us for a celebration of British cars and relive the glory days of British motoring....

The British Emporium, 140 North Main Street Grapevine - out of the festival grounds and one block North of Northwest Highway

Call us on 817-421-2311 if you'd like to display your British car or motorcycle, and we'll save a space for you! Our featured marque is the Land Rover, and a 2006 model will be on display along with classic models. Expect to see British Army vehicles with uniformed personnel along with Rolls Royce, Austin Healey, Jaguar, Morgan, Triumph, MG, Mini and many others!

A 1945 World War II Duck Rider will be exhibited - this amphibious invasion vehicle is currently used for tourist excursions around Grapevine and even into the lake! A highlight of the show will be "The Last of the V8 Interceptors" owned by Jake Sposato. As seen in the Australian "Mad Max" movies, the car developed a cult following due to its power, speed and dark looks.

Very few cars of this type exist in the world and this is a rare chance to see a re-creation of this film icon. Be sure to bring your camera and have your picture taken alongside this historic vehicle. This summer, we have 3 carshow Awards - each custom designed Blenko Art Glass is signed. Our Special Guest will be famed motoring artist Lisa Daniels who will be available to meet customers and will display her reknown artwork at the store.
