The Bridge is a musical cauldron of roots and blues, funk and soul. Taking bluegrass further with the inclusion of a saxophone, and funk further with the inclusion of a mandolin, their live performance pushes rock forward with long, dirty jams. The mournful dark-blues aspect mixes with the beatboxing and rootsy melodies for a carefully controlled, completely original vibe, along with some seriously impressive improvisation.

"On Blind Man's Hill, The Bridge calls to mind bayou bluesman Tab Benoit backed by the Radiators during 'Honey Bee,' and bluegrass fertilized with hot sauce on the wild 'Dirtball Blues.'" - Hittin' the Note

"Guitarist/songwriter Cris Jacobs says Our music has a hometown rootsy feel to it. It's got a down-home crab-eatin' vibe, but also a watch-your-back-' round-these-parts vibe." - City Paper, Baltamore
