The Brazilian Symposium on Computer in Education (SBIE) is promoted annually by the Computer in Education Special Committee of the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC). The event aims disseminate the academic production in the field and promote interactions and challenges between colleague, students and researchers who work with researches and/or development in Computing in Education and related areas. In 2010, the SBIE will celebrate its 21th anniversary and will be held in João Pessoa, from Tuesday, November 23 to Friday, November 26. This edition of SBIE is a joint organization effort conduced by Federal University of Paraiba and Federal University of Pernambuco.
