The Cocoanut Grove Fire
One of the most devastating fires in American History, the 1942 disaster at the Cocoanut Grove resulted in hundreds of deaths and had an enormous impact on building regulations and medical treatments. Herald reporter Stephanie Schorow looks back at this event, and the questions that still linger sixty years later.
