The Books emerged in June 2002 with the release of their critically acclaimed first album, Food for Thought. Though The Books are hard to categorize, they have named their unique sound a number of things: blipworld, fakegrass, speedblues, chamberclick, eccentrock, and country&eastern. Opening the show will be Death Vessel (aka Joel Thibodeau).

I have only heard the prefuse73 remix album... I need to get to listening to all the stuff that is coming to town this sunday before deciding what the heck I am going to do.
it is nice to see that the pittsburgh section is starting to gain momentum here.
