The Blue Rubys are a country-rock quartet from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Of the three-girls-one-guy gender composition, the Ann Arbor Observer says "the combination gives the band a kind of collective sexiness that's unusually complex." They play very straight-ahead rock, and cite Tom Petty, The Band and Soul Asylum as influences (rather accurately, considering their own sound).
