Stooges fans of all ages make this popular "Stooge-Fest" part of their annual Thanksgiving tradition. The Alex Film Society will show pristine 35mm prints of classic Three Stooges short subjects on the big screen as you have never seen before!

Bound to create fervor and dissension everywhere, the Alex Film Society's Blue Ribbon Panel of Stoogeologists has met, discussed, argued, drank and disagreed in order to select its definitive list of the "Best of The Best."

This year's short films include:

Micro-Phonies (1945)
A Plumbing We Will Go (1940)
Hoi Polloi (1935)
Pop Goes the Easel (1935)
Punchy Cowpunchers (1950)

Added treat: The Poke in Yer Eye Brass Ensemble will perform at both shows!

About The Alex Theatre:

The Alex Theatre is a historic, cultural and artistic treasure. Designed by architects Charles R. Selkirk and Arthur G. Lindley, the Alexander, as it was originally known, opened as a Vaudeville and silent movie theatre and later had a long career as a first run movie and major preview house. The theatre reopened in 1993 as a performing arts and entertainment venue.
