The Battle of Snookum's Creek at Star Clipper! December 5, 2008

Nick Main and Stephanie Richardson Present: An Historical Reenactment of The Battle of Snookum’s Creek.

Former Star Clipper manager Nick Main and longtime partner Stephanie Richardson are artist/designers who sculpt whimsical ideas into being with unusual materials such as wood, metal, fabric and clay. The upcoming Snookum’s Creek show, built from the ground up for Star Clipper’s unique gallery, features dozens of hand-made creatures recruited from their sketchbooks in a marvelous, multi-dimensional dioramatic attack.

This one-of-a-kind show will depict the historically factual and relevant key events that shaped the famously-epic Battle of Snookum’s Creek and its world-shattering conclusions, including newly-discovered information on the whereabouts of Brigadier General Hot Dog during the Water Cooler Calamity of 1809 and other equally shocking revelations yet to be revelated.

Nick Main works days at Xplane. He sometimes makes comics. Stephanie Richardson works days at The Groove Agency. This is her sixth show this year.

The opening reception is December 5, 7 to 10 PM. Food and beverage will be provided! The show runs until January 16, 2009.
