The Basics of Photography September 18, 2007

Whether you are a novice, an active picture taker or a serious amateur, this introductory course is designed to help you take control over the photographic process and explore the creative potential that photography offers. Photographer Michael Fry will explore photography’s technical and artistic sides and will also share his expert knowledge of cameras, lenses and other photographic equipment. Weekly assignments, followed by instructor critiques, will help participants learn how to make captivating photographs. Participants must furnish a 35 mm or digital camera, preferably with manual modes.
