The Bad Plus March 18, 2007

Partnering for their debut album These Are the Vistas with Tchad Blake, producer for Sheryl Crow, Los Lobos and Pearl Jam, quickly established The Bad Plus as an alternative jazz force to be reckoned with. Rave reviews followed from Jazz Times ("a bolt from the blue-galvanic, improbable, discrete, unforeseen") and Rolling Stone ("bad to the bone, hot players with hard rock hearts-moving, mighty music").
