The Baal Shem Tov’s Way to Healing and Joy: an evening with Rabbi Burt Jacobson October 17, 2007

The Baal Shem Tov, also known as the Besht, was the founder of Hassidism in 18th-century Poland. In this evening’s presentation, Burt Jacobson will focus on the Besht’s way to healing and joy, based on his book-in-progress, To Live in the Present: An Interpretation of the Life, Personality, and Teachings of the Baal Shem Tov. Rabbi Burt is the founding rabbi of Kehilla Community Synagogue.
