Wisdom is the ability to discern what is true, right and lasting.

In periods of economic and social challenge, developing an inner life and lasting values become ever more essential. The need for wisdom writers who can offer guidance for the significant dilemmas of our times is paramount.

In this unique week-end workshop you explore the wisdom writing process and develop the skills needed to create timely and enduring works of fiction and non-fiction. In-depth sessions guide you in creating powerful manuscripts from initial inspiration through development, revision and getting your work out into the world.

Facilitated by playwright and novelist, Lynne Kaufman, the weekend features a Friday evening performance and talk by Wes 'Scoop' Nisker, intensive craft-based workshops on the wisdom writing process by Susan Griffin and Mary Mackey, and presentations by literary agent, Andy Ross and editors Alan Rinzler and Eric Brandt.
