Learn the skills you will need for your relationship to stand the test of time.

Coming to Mill Valley on September 25th and 26th - “The Art and Science of Love: A Weekend Workshop For Couples”. You’ll learn research-based tools and skills to deepen friendship and intimacy in your relationship. There is no sharing between couples in this workshop.

This workshop is co-presented by Lisa Lund, MFT, CRC and Dr. Timothy West PhD, MFT, whose specialties are in helping couples improve their relationships. Lisa teaches couples wanting to enhance or repair their relationships in couple workshops. She also works directly with couples in her private practice in Santa Rosa and in Novato.

She will help you understand your personality styles, approach to finances, children, in-laws, recreation, time together vs. time apart, and more. Get to know your similarities and differences about areas that are important in most marriages and committed relationships. The differences between you and your partner are not an indicator that anything is wrong. They are just differences. However, it is important that your relationship has a healthy dialogue and to learn compromise even when you both don't agree.

Lisa is a Certified Gottman Counselor and Workshop Leader directly trained by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. She is also trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and PreMarital-Assessment (Prepare/Enrich). She is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist (License #MFT 33393) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (License #CRC 9916) with over 15 years of counseling experience.
