About the Show
The show has been written to honor the life and times of Dr. Davis in her life long struggle to fight for what is just for all people. Her heroic plight to be involved in the community politically and the sacrifice of her own personal life came with a price. In this one woman show her spirit will be introduced in a captivating performance.

Sharon Grandberry Burton, a native of Memphis TN, is starring in the debut production of the Angela Davis Story. Sharon will be making her film debut in the upcoming Ohio feature film Saving the Lives of Children, (www.savingthelivesofchildren), also written and produced by Tiffany Herndon of the Mid West Alliance for Fine Arts. Sharon, is the CEO of Grandberries Consulting Group, Inc.(www.grandberriesconsultinggroup.com), a consultant firm in Atlanta, GA. Sharon earned a BS from the University of Evansville, an MBA, a Masters in Human Resources, and a Masters in Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Sharon has been featured in national and local publications for career achievement. Recently, she was featured in Black Enterprise Magazine , ASTD, American Society for Training & Development, and the Atlanta Business Journal, Woman on the Move. Featured guest speaker on Working it Out Talk Show, Wise Effects, Named Who’s Who Empire Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreners, Board of Directors, National Black MBA Association, Board of Directors, University of Evansville Alumni Association Member, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Norris Burton.

The Midwest Alliance for Fine Arts is a non profit organization based in Columbus,Ohio that serves as the support networking group for performing artist in the midwest. The organization provides mentor ship and resources to children and adults who are interested in pursuing entertainment careers in the performing arts. The organization was founded by Tiffany Herndon, an upcoming filmmaker/photojournalist and former associate producer of Universal. Ms. Herndon discovered that many artists had a lack of education regarding the entertainment industry. Tiffany Herndon set out on a mission to utilize her entertainment producing skills to assists performing artists in pursuing their careers in the most creative and intelligent ways possible. She found that many aspiring artists made common mistakes with contracts/auditioning/and entertainment management. Ms. Herndon realized that there is a void to be filled in entertainment and decided to connect talent with legitimate casting directors, direct actors to workshops for performing arts at facilities such as the Tupac Amaru Shakur school for performing arts, connect dancers to some of the best dance companies in the nation such as Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
