The 3rd Annual Pico Art Walk and Car Show (10am-5pm) September 27, 2008

The City of Santa Monica and The Pico Improvement Organization invite you to discover Pico with The 3rd Annual Pico Art Walk and Car Show.

The much anticipated "green" themed annual event welcomes visitors to walk, ride bikes, or be shuttled along in one of the two London Double Decker buses that will be continually transporting visitors from Centinela to Main street.

The GRAMMY Foundation will be sponsoring the live music stage at Virginia Avenue Park, also guests can partake in a "Taste of Pico," with complimentary food and beverages, provided by local businesses.

Galleries and studios along Pico will open their doors to showcase their brilliant works and demonstrate creative art techniques.

For the car enthusiast, cars of the past and future will be highlighted by the Vintage Auto Show in the SGI parking lot that will display over a hundred vintage automobiles, and alternative fuel source cars will be showcased in the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.

The Annual Pico Art Walk and Car Show is September 27th 2008, from 10am to 5pm, along Pico Boulevard from Centinela to Main Street. Free parking is located at Santa Monica College and free bike valet is available all day in Virgina Avenue Park.
