Registering to enter the 2008 Florida State Park Photo Contest

The 2008 Florida State Park Photo Contest is now underway, and we have begun accepting Photographer registrations. The process is easy. All Photographers will first register as a Contestant, and receive a Photographer ID number. When you have received your photographer number, you may begin to fill out the necessary forms for photograph entries, photo releases, and model releases (if necessary). Once your forms are complete, you may mail them in to be submitted to the contest. Please read the Contest Rules for more details. If you were registered for the 2007 Photo Contest you will not need to register again. Please use your current photographer number for the 2008 Photo Contest.

F.) The Department of Environmental Protection has non-exclusive rights to use and publish the photograph on its website or in publications in conjunction with this contest. The Department also may use the photograph in other Department publications to promote Florida State Parks and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, such as on its website, in state park brochures, in magazines, distribution of Desktop Wallpaper, and for other marketing and promotional uses. The Department recognizes that the photographer owns the image and the copyright to the photograph.

Prizes
A) Monthly winners will receive a copy of the Florida State Parks … the Real Florida Passport.
B) The winner of the Annual Photo Contest will receive a 2-night stay at a cabin in any Florida State Park of their choice that offers cabin accommodations. Reservations will be based upon availability through Reserve America.
