The 2007 Burlingame Art & Jazz Festival August 11, 2007

The City of Burlingame is turning up the heat this summer for the 2007 Art & Jazz Festival, full of edgy art, trendy jewelry, gourmet food and saucy musical entertainment. Get jazzed up to enjoy sophisticated artwork, elite crafts and the toe-tapping sounds of some of the Bay Area’s spiciest jazz bands on August 11 and 12, 2007 on one of the Peninsula’s premier shopping meccas, Burlingame Avenue.

For the first time, the Burlingame Art & Jazz festival will be showcasing a Home and Garden segment. The town’s picturesque nature also makes it the perfect setting for the event’s first Wine Pavilion, welcoming all wine connoisseurs to this vibrant and musical festival in all its grandeur. Such an assortment of splendid food and wines is sure to satisfy even the pickiest palette.

WHO: The Burlingame Chamber of Commerce and the Burlingame Avenue Area Merchants are proud to present the 2007 Burlingame Art & Jazz Festival.

WHAT: A fabulous annual event featuring over 150 artists, fine art, sculpture, ceramics, crafts, jewelry, specialty clothing, delicious gourmet foods, home and garden, and a thoroughly entertaining children’s play area. The festival showcases many forms of light jazz such as Dixieland, Swing and Latin. It’s a wonderful way to spend a summer day with the family.

WHERE: Burlingame Avenue in the heart of the village-like downtown in Burlingame, California, 15 minutes south of San Francisco, in San Mateo County. Take Caltrain to the Burlingame Avenue Train Station, just steps away from the festival. Public parking is available.
