Tonight is the start of something truly phenomenal. It is a festival of 'Piano' and 'Performance' which has rooted its position in the British Jazz calendar and tonight we have three different piano duos performing an eclectic and world class evening of piano craftsmanship.

Acclaimed pianists Jason Rebello and Dave Newton team up for a long awaited meeting of the spirits, bringing you the hardest swinging, sweetest sounding jazz you're likely to hear on the planet...
Gbor Cseke & Jnos Nagy: These two inventive musicians are both top rank virtuoso pianists on the Hungarian jazz scene and have played together before to astonishing reception. Expect these two to blow your socks off so bring an extra pair!!
Alex Wilson & Cesar Correa with Will Fry on Percussion and Elpidio Caicedo on Bass: Acclaimed UK latin jazz pianist Alex Wilson joins forces for the first time on stage with Peruvian piano virtuoso Cesar Correa to push the limits of latin piano to the extreme. Having toured extensively with Rodrigo y Gabriela and Ernest Ranglin last year, Alex is releasing his jazz-infused ninth album entitled Alex Wilson Trio (partly recorded live at PizzaExpress Jazz Club) in Spring 2013. Classically trained, Cesar Correa brings a romantic elegance to the collaboration and when the two pianists kick off with the accompaniment of a Cuban rhythm section featuring Elpidio Caicedo (bass) and Will Fry (percussion)... heavy duty sparks are guaranteed to fly!
