The 1ST LATINO AMERICAN POETIC SHORT FILM FESTIVAL September 16, 2008

The 1st Latino American Poetic Short Film Festival at the Nuyorican Poet's Cafe will feature thirteen poetic short films. The festival will take place Tuesday, September 16th, 23rd, 30th and October 7th 2008. The films featured in LAPSFF are diverse in their content as well as their origins. They are all unique to its message but cohesive to the theme of the festival. The festival will shine light on issues such as terminal sickness, family, human rights, and immigration, among others. This showcase will provide the audience with stories from different spectrums in life. The diversity in the selection of films in LAPSFF is what makes this festival unique to its kind while creating a new film genre.
