A few weeks ago, my brother came home from being stationed overseas while serving in the marines. We thought it might be fun to go this new establishment for a few cocktails. We were seated by the booths, but because the waitress was so rude we decided to buy our drinks at the bar. The waitress insisted that the bartender take our drinks off of his register and put them on hers. What purpose that served was beyond me, she did not earn a tip.

The drink that was made for my sister was unsatisfactory. She returned her drink. The bartender apologized and was in the process of remaking her a new drink when the owner became confrontational. He got in her face and asked her what was wrong with the drink. After she told him, he said that he had never heard of a drink being returned and remade.

I guess he was really pissed off after that happened. We took our drinks and returned to the area where the rest of our friends were seated. The owner turned OFF the music and turned up the televisions without any regard to anyone else's feelings. I asked the waitress who turned off the music and she said the owner. I asked why and she said she would call him over so I could ask him. I reassured her that would not be necessary because we would be leaving in response to the constant rudeness. It was obviously what they wanted.

The Storm Cellar has been remodeled and is very nice but the staff needs a makeover if they expect to have a profitable business. The Red Hawke Grille is much nicer!

I've been to the Storm Cellar for their ladies nights before. It's usually a pretty decent crowd. I haven't had a bad experience yet.

I am so glad that the Storm Cellar opened up! I think it terrible that someone from the Red Hawke Grille is scared about an exciting new business to put such lies and try and promote themselves in the process. All the bar and wait staff are kind and helpful. Heck they even set up the Wii and I played bowling for a while before they closed. Most places wouldn't do something like this so close to closing time.

I have been at the Strom Cellar many times. I have been kindly greeted every time and am usually asked what I may need even before I sit down. The Storm Cellar is an excellent place to go and chill. The staff and managers have always been very personable and accommodating especially with drinks and food. The food is fantastic and there is an awesome ambiance. I would recommend without reserve!!
