Tezeta is the Amharic word for nostalgia - a bittersweet longing for the past. Tezeta Band takes you to early 1970's Ethiopia and back with a sound part jazz, part funk, and part traditional Ethiopian folk. Tezeta Band is a reunion of sorts for five of the original Five Fingers Of Funk so the funky grooves and horn lines may bring back a few sweet Portland memories. Come join us for a night of Ethiopian soul music!
