this Saturday, Feb. 21, "A Hundred Years of Shanghai's Expatriate History in 50 Minutes," & March 20, "Disappearing Shanghai: An Architectural Overview" (slides). Author of 10 books on Old Shanghai, Johnston is a renowned expert on the Shanghai the world still remembers. Both events will be held 5:00-7:00 pm at the Wan Fung Art Gallery at the Jesuit Library (Bibliotheka Zi-Ka-Wei), 80 Cao Xi North Rd (exit 8 from Xujiahui Metro stop; car parking available).
