The Robin 2 welcomes a man that once turned down the chance to join Jimmy Page in Led Zeppelin ? one of the true gems in the rock n? roll world, with a hell of a story to tell.

Terry Reid?s highly melodic songwriting and scintillating vocals distinguish him from his peers. One enthusiastic scribe wrote, "His velvet and sandpaper sound is as irresistible as Rod Stewart, his delivery as nakedly emotional as Joe Cocker, and his musicianship as fine as Steve Winwood?s." Small wonder that Aretha Franklin once asserted that "There are only three things happening in London: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Terry Reid." Terry was first choice to join Led Zeppelin but turned down Jimmy Page?s offer to continue his solo career. He was later offered the job as lead singer in Deep Purple, passing on this as well. Following his huge success at Glastonbury Festival Terry Reid returns to the UK for a short tour.
