Tenth Anniversary of YBA April 3, 2008

Young Biologists Association celebrates the Tenth Anniversary in April 2008. YBA day called "Dashaka Samarum" will be held on 3 April 2008 from 2.00 pm at the National Museum Auditorium, Colombo 7 to mark this occasion.

Hon Patalee Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources will grace the occasion as the chief guest, while Prof Sarath Kotagama, Dr Hiran Amarasekera (Patron, YBA), Dr Nanda Wickramasinghe (Director, Museums), Dr Sirimal Premakumara (President, IOB), Mr Sarath Wickramasinghe (Addl Secretory, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resouces) Mr Samapth Wahala (First Preseident, YBA) and Mr Nilantha Vishvanath (President, YBA) will address the gathering. An Environmental Drama by students of the Forestry and Environment Societywill also be staged at the occasion.
