Teen West African Drumming Workshop Orientation FREE February 10, 2007

As part of African American Heritage Month Disney & Mayor Antonio Villairagosa together w/ Tia Chucha's Centro Cultural present the Music LA program which will provide free West African Drumming & Dj-ing workshops for youth between the ages of 13-18. To pre-register visit the cafe and sign up inside!



Participants will learn the cultural significance an instrument can have on a people for hundreds of years through the Djembe in our West African Drumming class.

Orientation: Sat., Feb. 10, 2007 @ 1p.m.

Class will meet:
Monday, February 12th 2007–Sunday, April 22nd 2007
Tuesdays 4-6pm
Saturdays: 3-5pm
Sundays: 2-3pm

Workshops will be facilitated here at our current location & will then continue at our new temporary space. The location of our temporary space will be announced on the day of our 5 year anniversary celebration scheduled for Saturday, February 17 @ 12 noon.
