Bute Place
Cardiff, Wales CF10

For those of you that have ever visited TED.com, this event will need no introduction. Needless to say, we're very excited to bringing it to Cardiff!

TEDxCardiff is brought to you by Claire Scantlebury of Cardiff Web Scene and Neil Cocker of Nocci (Network of Creative and Cultural Industries).

TEDx is a program that enables local communities to organize, design and host their own independent, TED-like events.

The second TEDxCardiff will be bigger, better and brighter than the first!

Our speakers include:

- Tori James: First Welsh woman to climb Mount Everest.
- Maf Lewis & Rome Viharo: Social media marketing gurus discuss whether Google is in fact conscious.
- Tim Robertson: Head of the Koestler Trust which works with prisoners to reform them through art
- Pete Lawrence: Founder of the Big Chill festival, and credited as the "godfather" of the small festival scene in the UK.
- Alastair Reynolds: Award winning sci-fi writer, astrophysicist and former employee of the European Space Agency.

Tickets are needed to attend the event and will be made available through the Wales Millennium Centre Box Office in March. We recommend that you get your tickets quickly as we're expecting to sell out.
