London-born, LA-based Thompson is the son of folk star and Fairport Convention-founder Richard Thompson and his first wife and former musical partner, Linda. The pair has passed on not only a famous name but also the family folk genes. Violin and vocal phenomenon Christina Courtin has a voice that is naturally rich, strong and soulful. She performs classical harmonies over a blend of jazz, traditional, acoustic and blues music.
