Microsoft and TiE UK are teaming up to launch a Technology Special Interest Group to help educate and support entrepreneurs in their business growth.

The first Tech SIG will be held at the British Library on 16 March and will feature Barnaby Terry as the guest speaker who will share his views on the current state of the Technology market and the opportunities available to today's emerging businesses. Barnaby is a highly respected IT industry figure who has invested in over 50 high growth firms in the IT and services sector and co-founded Elderstreet Capital Partners, a leading venture capital fund, which he represents on the boards of Edenbrook and SIFT. A networking session with drinks and canapes will follow the presentation and Q &A.

TiE UK is part of the largest non-profit organisation for entrepreneurs and is committed to helping budding entrepreneurs through networking mentoring and education. TiE has recently teamed up with Microsoft through their BizSpark program.
