Tastes of Italia: Antipasti Extravaganza Luncheon October 19, 2007

Executive Chef Daniel Maurice will create a selection of Lorenza de’ Medici’s recipes while Ms. de’ Medici herself gives insight to the subtle intricacies of life in the Italian kitchen. Lorenza will be honored by the Accademia della Cucina Italiana, San Francisco for her important contributions to Italian Cuisine.

Dining with de’Medici, October 16th to 22nd
Friends of FAI (The National Trust for Italy) is celebrating culinary icon Lorenza de'Medici with a week of Bay Area wine and food events. Lorenza is known as one of the pioneers in bringing Italian cuisine to the American table with her beautiful cook books and charming PBS cooking show The de'Medici Kitchen which aired in the 1980's. All proceeds will go towards FAI's restoration projects.
