Chaise Lounge, 1840 W. North Avenue, will offer two seatings at 6 and 8 p.m. In addition to items from the new menu, Executive Chef Cary Taylor will feature specials including a Grilled Filet Mignon with Wild Mushrooms and Caramelized Onions and Wild Virginia Striped Bass with Pernod, Golden Califlower and Baby Spinach.

North Avenue, invites Chicagoans and visitors alike to Taste or Indulge on new dishes with sleeker portions that are full on flavor and leaner on prices. The new menu from Executive Chef Cary Taylor is a perfect fit for friends looking for cocktails to sip and dishes to share in the city’s Bucktown neighborhood.

The Restaurant at Chaise Lounge’s new fare features bold and innovative Taste portions such as Spicy Scallops with Kabocha Squash, Grilled Radicchio and Togarashi Spice and Croquettes oozing with Cheese, Smoked Chicken, Jamon Serrano, and Roasted Garlic. Other small plates include Steamed Mussels with Spiced Pumpkin, Smoked Bacon Broth and Chaise Tacos with Grilled Mahi, Napa Cabbage Slaw and Chipotle Salsa set on a Crisp Tortilla.

For those looking to Indulge their taste buds, guests can also order Roasted Chicken with Dried Apricots, Minnesota Wild Rice, Italian Broccoli and Salsa Verde; Salmon with Petite Golden Lentils, Mushrooms, Baby Spinach and Red Wine Mustard Sauce; or a Red Wine Braised Short Rib “Pot Roast”. The delicious American classic half-pound Chaise Burger with Smoked Bacon, Aged Cheddar, and Hand-Cut Fries are also available.

New for the menu are crowd-pleasing arrays of small stuffed sandwiches. Chaise Lounge offers a Hot Buns section featuring Shrimp Po’ Boy with Old Bay Spice and Cherry Tomato, Pulled Pork with Pickles and Mustard Barbeque Sauce, and Grilled Veggies piled high with Zucchini, Squash and Roasted Tomato.
