Taryn Simon: an American Index of the Hidden and Unfamiliar April 27, 2007

This exhibition debuts a selection of photographs from Taryn Simons newly completed body of work, 'An American Index of the Hidden and Unfamiliar.' Simon, who has spent much time photographing international regions in turmoil, turns her eye inward to document spaces that are integral to America's foundation, mythology and daily functioning, but remain inaccessible to the public.
