Romance and adventure take place in a remote village in the heart of Africa. Author Eric Madeen grew up in Elgin and served as a Peace Corps volunteer for two years in Gabon, Africa. His writing has appeared in numerous publications. He is an associate professor of English at Tokyo City University.
