Vanora is a former journalist who worked for the Times and other national newspapers and she was also a Reuters corresponent.
She now writes historical fiction and has written 3 novels, Portrait of an Unkown Woman; Blood Royal and Queen of Silks (published in the USA as Figures in Silk).
The library service has copies in stock of all 3 novels. Vanora will mainly be talking about her novel "Queen of Silks" - newly issued in paperback.

This is a sumptuous tale of the silk trade in fifteenth century London.
