Takacs Quartet October 25, 2012

The Takacs Quartet is one of the world's greatest string quartets. Formed in Budapest at the Franz Liszt Academy in 1975, they are currently based in Boulder, Colorado and have held a residency at the University of Colorado since 1983. The program features works by Haydn and Britten and the Shostakovich Piano Quintet with pianist Marc-Andre Hamelin.
