The main event in Downtown Tacoma:
Tacoma Jazz & Blues Festival at the Freighthouse Square, The Harmon Brewery, Varsity Grill
We will feature top notch northwest jazz and blues musicians such as Charles White, who will be a special feature on the Blues Stage. The festival officially concludes with Tacoma’s own high energy band, Rich Wetzel’s Groovin Higher Jazz Orchestra from 5:30-7:30 pm at Freighthouse Square.

Education Stage – Tacoma Community College
Saturday May 16
We kick things of with one of our most joyful aspects of the festival, the music education stage. We will feature some outstanding local high school jazz bands and the Tacoma Community College jazz band. This event is also free and open to the public and we encourage you to come support these young musicians in another fun-filled and music-filled day on the campus of Tacoma Community College.
