Synaplex Shabbat is an event open to the public that takes place Friday night and Saturday incorporating innovative, small and large group programs that occur simultaneously to offer a variety of options for Jewish expression -- culturally, spiritually, educationally and socially. Activity highlights include: Kosher wine tasting, Yoga with a Jewish twist, Beginners/traditional services, Bible role-playing for children, Walking tour: National Arts Club, Book chat, Holiday text study, Toddler program (complete schedules available). The event is jointly hosted by Town and Village Synagogue, Brotherhood Synagogue and East End Temple and is co-sponsored by STAR and the UJA-Federation of New York.
